In fact, the 151-page book is packed with information and includes step-by-step instructions as well as numerous tips, "Words of Wisdom" passages, and quotes from famous artists - all part of the author's intent to instruct with humor. As the book's cover suggests, the book has an additional focus on unique frames. The author has a regional following for creating unique frames from discarded and found objects. He includes an extensive visual catalog of his frames here, describing how he created a frame and explaining his inspirations. He hopes that his readers will be equally inspired to make their own frames for their paintings, displaying them for friends and family. As Joe says, art is an adventure meant to be shared.
