Written for the general reader as well as the clinician, Curing Psychological Symptoms (a revision of 4 Steps to Peace of Mind), considers 10 fascinating real-life cases (though to protect privacy all identifying information of clinical-subject material has been changed). The book is far more than a technical treatise. It shows how Dr. Kellerman's treatments, for more than a half-century in private practice, have changed, and even saved, lives. A majority among those profiled did not require medication; some did. Rather than discussing "a cure," Kellerman employs the far more realistic therapeutic goal of struggling better, a faithful reflection of what the therapeutic process is all about. This book was published in a Bulgarian translation in 2021.
