Daniel Warren Johnson (Massachusetts, 1987) es un reconocido guionista y dibujante estadounidense, destacado por su estilo dinámico y emocional en el cómic contemporáneo. Su carrera comenzó con la webserie Space Mullet (2012–2017), y alcanzó notoriedad con obras como Extremity (2017), Murder Falcon (2018) y Do a Powerbomb (2022), esta última galardonada con el Premio Eisner a la Mejor Publicación para Adolescentes en 2023. También ha trabajado en títulos de Marvel y DC, incluyendo Beta Ray Bill: Argent Star (2021) y Wonder Woman: Dead Earth (2019–2020).

En 2023, Johnson revitalizó la franquicia Transformers con una nueva serie publicada por Skybound/Image Comics, que forma parte del Universo Energon. Esta obra ha sido aclamada por su narrativa intensa y su arte expresivo, ganando los Premios Eisner a la Mejor Serie Continua y al Mejor Escritor/Artista en 2024.
