A series of public lectures given by John Bennett in Autumn 1956 and published in volume form in 1964. The lectures are reproduced in five chapters with a preface and postscript by the author. From the cover of the first edition: "Bennett's Theory of Universal Energies was first presented in his great work THE DRAMATIC UNIVERSE.
