Christopher Priest (nacido James Christopher Owsley en 1961) es un guionista de cómics estadounidense reconocido por ser el primer afroamericano en desempeñarse como escritor y editor en la industria del cómic convencional. A lo largo de su carrera, ha trabajado en editoriales como Marvel, DC y Valiant, destacándose por su enfoque innovador en personajes como Black Panther, Deathstroke y Quantum & Woody. Su estilo se caracteriza por tramas complejas, estructuras narrativas no lineales y una profunda exploración psicológica de los personajes.

Entre sus obras más recientes se encuentra Superman: Lost (2023), una miniserie de 10 números publicada por DC Comics y traducida al español como Superman: Perdido.
