Mates will do anything for each other. Isn't that what they say? Dave Morrison is a typical country bloke made good. Recently graduated as a scientist, he works for GenTec, a US based Biotechnology Company with a genetic research facility in Adelaide, Australia. Dave's best mate is Jake Kelly, born on the land to work on the land. Like most he has a few weaknesses. One is his liking to smoke an occasional joint rolled from his own home grown, totally organic cannabis. While Jake reckons his cannabis is the best there is, he thinks Dave may be able to make it even better. Dave tells Jake the whole process to genetically modify a cannabis plant will take years. But Dave hasn't counted on some undercover, high level assistance from the United States. He also has not considered just how high the stakes will reach in this innocent attempt to maintain his lifelong friendship. Remember, when your Mum said 'don't touch'? She just might have been right.
