Christopher Paolini Nació en el Sur de California y ha vivido casi toda su vida en Paradise Valley (Montana). Gran amante de la ciencia ficción y de la fantasía, fue educado por sus padres en su caso y se graduó para la preparatoria a los 15 años gracias a un curso realizado por correspondencia.

En el año 2003, a la edad de diecinueve años, publicó su primera novela, Eragon, y pronto se convirtió en un fenómeno literario.
