It's An IT Thing is the debut novel of author Nikhil Muraleedharan which is the first part of the series. It tells the story of four friends Rohan, Nishant, Vikram, and Arun who in the year 2015 move to 4 capital cities of Southern India to work in an IT company. Set in the background of an IT firm, readers will move ahead with the protagonists to see what the cities have to offer. To sanitize the biggest lie amongst outsiders that IT means Coding. Is an IT company always the pilgrimage for a graduate Engineer? Will the protagonists be able to accept the culture and acceptance from the citizens? Will the dreams of an Engineer come true or they get disintegrated like glass? Do these cities contribute to self-exploration or will they torture to the extent that one gives upon himself? And most importantly does the thickness of the thread of their friendship be still stronger or get cut with a knife? Sometimes it's hard to portray the essence of a story without deep-diving into it so come and take a cool bath inside the vast ocean of IT to understand how it transforms an individual.
