What is the debate between faith and works? Is there a practical explanation? Paul stated that salvation was by faith without works, James agreed, but said a person's faith had to demonstrate the kind of faith he has. His conclusion is that a person is saved by faith and works. Both Paul and James, it seems, are correct.
