The book 'Jauhar Ki Rakh Se Shikhar Tak' is a historical novel written by the famous Rajasthan writer Shri Shyam Sundar Bhatt. This novel is written in easy language which historically presented bravery, loyalty and reverence displayed by the sons of soil of Mewar to thrashed out foreign invaders during 23 years after Jauhar took place under the leadership of Maharani Padmini in Chittorgarh in AD 1303 and the incidences in chittorgarh of plight, concerns and mass massacre of common people by invaders.The various aspects of the life of the dynasty which inherited from the ashes of Jauhar are highlighted in this novel. Certain scenes of Mewar's chaos, the failure of the ruler's efforts, and the endless success at the end have been relentlessly introduced throughout the novel through historical characters.
