Nathan Fairbairn es un creador de cómics canadiense reconocido por su labor como colorista y guionista. Ha trabajado con editoriales como Marvel, DC, Image y Dark Horse, participando en títulos destacados como Scott Pilgrim, Wonder Woman: Earth One y All-New Wolverine. En 2016, co-creó Lake of Fire, una novela gráfica publicada por Image Comics, traducida a siete idiomas. Su trabajo ha sido nominado al premio Eisner y ha recibido los premios Joe Shuster en las categorías de Mejor Colorista y Mejor Artista Canadiense.

En 2022, Fairbairn lanzó la serie de novelas gráficas infantiles PAWS, co-creada con la ilustradora Michele Assarasakorn y publicada por Penguin Random House. La serie, que incluye títulos como Gabby Gets It Together y Hazel Has Her Hands Full, ha sido traducida a más de diez idiomas.
