The author, Tim Hampton, is a proven researcher and author specializing in law enforcement, community policing and leadership. In addition to his practitioner duties as a current police commander with the Phoenix Police Department, he puts into practice through training the concepts he developed in the book. His educational accomplishments include earning his doctoral degree from the University of Phoenix. Hampton's multifaceted background establishes him in a strategic position to gather and assemble key pieces of proactive police leadership that span the globe.
