El Dr. Paul David Tripp es un pastor, autor galardonado y conferencista internacional estadounidense, reconocido por su enfoque práctico y bíblico en la vida cristiana. Nacido en Toledo, Ohio, Tripp se formó en el Columbia Bible College (ahora Columbia International University) y obtuvo su Maestría en Divinidad del Reformed Episcopal Seminary y su Doctorado en Ministerio en Consejería Bíblica del Westminster Theological Seminary .

A lo largo de su carrera, Tripp ha plantado una iglesia, fundado una escuela cristiana, compuesto canciones de adoración y viajado con una banda cristiana. Fue miembro de la facultad de la Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) durante muchos años, profesor de Consejería Bíblica en el Westminster Theological Seminary, profesor visitante en el Southern Baptist Theological Seminary y pastor en la Tenth Presbyterian Church en Filadelfia .
