The book also goes into the details of actual trades made by the author to provide insight into the learning process from which a short step towards profits from spread betting is possible. The author, John austin, is a former research scientist in climate change and ozone depletion. He now operates an internet publishing business EnigmaScientific.com. Over the years John has traded on and off in the stock market using leveraged and non-leveraged products. He has finally been able to explore the use of scientific methods for financial gain and this brief book is a summary of his efforts to date.
