The "Outbreak", a mysterious illness, quickly began to spread across the country. Before the "Outbreak" could reach critical mass, Bryce had the foresight to prepare his family for the mass exodus to come. He found the perfect sanctuary for his family; a fish hatchery. As the "Outbreak" unfolded, Bryce ran into multiple groups of like-minded people that all sought out a place to call home, and for those who could contribute to the cause, they found sanctuary in the Hatchery Compound.
