Albert Camus (Mondovi, Argelia, 7 de noviembre de 1913 – Francia, 4 de enero de 1960) fue un novelista, ensayista y filósofo francés, cuya trayectoria lo consolidó como una de las figuras clave del pensamiento y la literatura del siglo XX. Su infancia, marcada por la humildad y el entorno colonial argelino, influyó profundamente en su visión del mundo y en su estilo literario.
