Steven Pinker es un psicólogo experimental que realiza investigaciones en cognición visual, psicolingüística y relaciones sociales. Es licenciado en McGill y tiene un doctorado en Harvard. Actualmente es Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology en Harvard y ha enseñado en Stanford y MIT. Ha ganado numerosos premios por investigaciones, enseñanza y sus libros.
