One of Windy Dryden's abiding interests in the field of counselling and psychotherapy is to encourage people to take responsibility for developing their mental health. One way of using this book is as follows. Each day, focus on one thought, consider it and see how you can apply it in your life. Implement it and observe what effect it has. In this way, you will discover which thoughts can inspire you and which do not have such an effect. Whichever way you decide to use this book it is the author's hope that you will learn something new about yourself and make a positive difference to your mental health based on the application of such knowledge.
