Having lived in the world's poorest and wealthiest nations for more than four decades, he has witnessed first-hand the inequalities in people's standard of living. Such observations fuelled his passion for exploring the potential of a new and sustainable economic life for humans and the environment. He has demonstrated this in several published books, papers and talks at numerous international conferences. He believes that this starts by working closely with the grassroots population to put them at the centre of economic activities.
