The hero David Douglas, journeys from a world ravaged by a hydrogen and proton bomb war to a world some ten thousand years in the future on a time machine. He finds the people there living a life similar the the Cave Man era of Earth. To be able to return the people living around the outside of the old underground fortress back to a civilized life, he must first overcome many obstacles such as mutates, dinosaurs and even some of the followers of the Serpent god. This undertaking proves quite tedious for a man who once commanded a giant starship in the war between the Federation and the Serpent. It is also an epic love story that spans the eons of time, breaching together an endless love that will last UNTIL THE END OF TIME.
