Madeleine L'Engle (1918-2007) fue una escritora estadounidense reconocida por su contribución a la literatura juvenil de ciencia ficción y fantasía. Su obra más destacada, "Una arruga en el tiempo" (1962), le valió la Medalla Newbery y ha sido traducida a numerosos idiomas.
