Ares is a literary science fiction novel about humanity's return to Mars - and the buried truth waiting beneath its red stone.

Dr. Mara Vuković came to Mars to read geology, not scripture. As part of the ARES mission, she expected dust, pressure, procedure, and the cold triumph of being among the first humans to stand on the red world.

Then the rovers begin behaving strangely.
