Reseña del libro "Beyond the Horizon"
Astrid has spent her life believing that every blank space on a map is an invitation. A gifted cartographer, she has always been fascinated by the places that exist beyond the boundaries of the known world. But when an ancient map passed down through her family begins to change, Astrid discovers something impossible: a coastline that does not exist on any modern chart and a route leading west beyond the known horizon. Determined to discover where the map leads, she turns to Leo, an experienced sailor whose own unexplained voyage years earlier brought him dangerously close to the same mysterious waters. Together, they set sail into a world neither of them could have imagined. Beyond the horizon they find Eldora, a hidden civilization filled with ancient knowledge, forgotten technology, and secrets that could transform the human world. But Eldora was not simply lost. It was hidden for a reason. As Astrid and Leo journey through forests that challenge their perception, labyrinths that expose their deepest fears, and ruins that reveal the tragic history of a civilization that once believed knowledge could solve everything, they discover that the map has been testing them from the beginning. Eldora's greatest secret is not what its people discovered. It is why they chose to hide it. When another expedition arrives seeking the same knowledge, Astrid and Leo are forced to confront a question neither of them expected to face: Who has the right to decide what humanity is ready to know? Because discovering something is one thing. Having the wisdom to decide what should be done with it is something else entirely. Beyond the Horizon is an adult fantasy adventure about discovery, forbidden knowledge, trust, sacrifice, and the price of believing that because something can be possessed, it should be.
