Reseña del libro "Here, There and Everywhere: Memoirs of an Air Hostess (en Inglés)"

The stories in Here, There and Everywhere are mainly from my exhausting, happy, frustrating, turbulent days after I became an air hostess with Ansett Airlines of South Australia. As well as portraying travel as it was in the 1970s and 1980s, they revisit attitudes in society, fashions and music when the world was more peaceful and travel was simpler and more pleasant as a result.'Fasten your seat belts and prepare for take-off! Let flight attendant Lindsey Jane Doley take you to the back of the plane to sit with young hostesses and be privy to their secrets and adventures. A keen observer, with an eye for detail, Doley reminisces about her life on the airways in the 1970s and 80s, when free travel opened up the world for her. In-page entertainment includes quirky anecdotes, strange and sleazy passengers, foreign cities and romance. A born storyteller, Doley will have you on the edge of your seat, not knowing where the next chapter will land. Here, There and Everywhere is an entertaining and colloquial part of Australia's airline history.' - Jude Aquilina, poet and author'A perfect peek behind the scenes at what life was really like as an air hostess in the bygone era of the 1970s and 80s. Poignant in places, laugh-out-loud funny in others, this book is a definite must-read.' - David Blake, London author
