Anne Dufourmantelle (1964–2017) fue una filósofa y psicoanalista francesa, formada en la Universidad de Brown y doctora en filosofía por la Sorbona. Ejerció el psicoanálisis, enseñó en la European Graduate School y colaboró con el diario Libération. Su pensamiento abordó temas como el riesgo, la dulzura, el secreto y el amor, integrando filosofía, psicoanálisis y literatura.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran Elogio del riesgo (2011), Potencia de la dulzura (2013), En caso de amor: Psicopatología de la vida amorosa (2012) y Inteligencia del sueño (2012). También coescribió De la hospitalidad (1997) junto a Jacques Derrida. En 1998, recibió el premio Raymond de Boyer de Sainte-Suzanne de la Academia Francesa por La vocación profética de la filosofía. Falleció trágicamente en 2017 al intentar rescatar a dos niños en una playa cercana a Saint-Tropez.
