Reseña del libro "Judy and her pal Rumpus (en Inglés)"

This book preserves a sentimental collection of poems and illustrations originally created by Maude E. Moorshead during the 1940s. Transcribed and restored by David Stott, the work is written primarily from the perspective of a dog named Judy, detailing her daily life and interactions with her friend Rumpus. The verses provide a charming glimpse into canine adventures, covering themes such as family lineage, beach trips, and mischievous table manners. Beyond lighthearted domestic tales, the source highlights historical animal welfare efforts, including a tribute to a heroic dog and support for The Blue Cross charity during the Second World War. The inclusion of original sketches enhances the narrative, offering a heartfelt look at the bond between humans and their pets during a bygone era. Through these pages, the author celebrates the infinite charm and loyalty of animals with both humour and deep respect. Read more
