Reseña del libro "Lyleith Awakening: Of God Men & Chocolate (en Inglés)"
Sean and Maureen O'Meara are having the worst Mid-life Crisis ever. Already stuck in the ardor-less life of post-childbearing Catholicism, Sean begins waking up in crop circles haunted by "dreams" of alien involvement. Of course the good Catholic lad confesses all to his parish priest -- big mistake! Sean finds himself torn away from his family and thrown into a strange new world that threatens all he has based life upon. As Sean is sucked into an otherworldly battle of the sexes, he's accidently imbued with powers he neither understands nor seems able to control. Struggling to master these new abilities, Sean discovers how these same aliens have twisted the structure of the very Church to which he and Maureen have surrendered their lives. Unfortunately, because of Sean's ill-advised confession, others have become aware of these new "powers" as well. As is to be expected, they not only seek to gain control of Sean but, most importantly, prevent him from revealing their secrets. Now pawns to ensure Sean's cooperation, Maureen and their seven daughters are placed in peril as well. With his red haired hellion of a wife taking off after all oppressors past and present, Sean struggles to repurpose sense out of the ruins of their former faith. Can the two rebooted lovers devise a plan to ensure the future safety of Kith and Kin? In so doing can they, also, restore harmony between "Mars" and "Venus?" And just what does chocolate have to do with it all? Strap on your seat belts and oxygen masks for a wild ride if you want the answers! At the onset of the fourth century, the soon to be, Emperor Constantine witnessed a heavenly sign that would lead him to unify the empire under an obscure Jewish sect. What could it have been, this flaming cross descending from the heavens, that motivated him to turn a persecuted minority into the state religion of the Roman Empire? Centuries later in modern day Ireland, Squire Sean O'Meara, is about to be dragged kicking and screaming into an odyssey to unearth the unearthly truth of the matter.
