Amid great concern for universal health care is succinct, well documented, accessible review of malpractice liability in health care and related professions. Freedman explores the nature of malpractice using commonly understood codes of ethics and statements of principles promulgated by the major associations of the health care industry itself, and then looks at malpractice liability from the viewpoint of court decisions and the fact patterns on which they are based.
