Located conveniently across the street from the local Jr. College, the coeds, hippies, and snobby socialites make up some of the interesting hodgepodge that are the customers. The crew that inhabits the store during their various shifts have there own peculiarities, and give an amusing and ridiculous behind-the-scenes view of what really happens in this grocery store. Before scanner technology, rewards cards, and plastic grocery bags, the blue collar jod of a retail grocery clerk was a solid career path. Interacting with the customers on good days and bad, with their unending supply of personality quirks, made every day special. If you have ever worked in a grocery store or have the occasion to show in one, this book is for you. It'll definately make you laugh, might even bring a tear to your eye, but it is absolutely the best grocery store book ever written. Maybe the only grocery store book ever written....
