'Noah: The Oral Tradition Retold' is the story of Noah, his wife Naamah, and his three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth in the time of the Biblical flood. The story begins with Noah being suddenly commanded by God to build an ark because a forty day and forty night rain is coming which will flood the earth. What follows is a comical fiasco presented in dialogue between Noah, his family and neighbors who think he is crazy as he builds a giant boat on dry land. As the story continues, it humorously follows the story of the great flood, eventually arriving at the conclusion that only Christians and Jews would believe the story of Noah's Ark. 'Noah: The Oral Tradition Retold' is presented in the same vein of Christian comedy stage play literature as The Cotton Patch Gospel of Matthew & John by Clarence Jordan and Smoke On The Mountain by Connie Ray. Its light-hearted style and off-the-cuff whimsy make it an easy and enjoyable read. The book would appeal to anyone who enjoys humorous approaches to Biblical stories... and who doesn't enjoy a great Bible story and a good laugh?
