The freedom of youth quickly disappeared as a maelstrom of evil erupted. Sigbjorn had two choices. He could leave the village of his birth, Henhus, and be declared outcast, or he could remain and likely be hanged on the orders of Father Coleth.
Fearing for his life, Sigbjorn had no choice. With the help of Magda, his sister's best friend, he departed to a world beyond his imagination. Yet, he vowed to return. Father Coleth would perish for the murder of his sister.
Naivety led him into the hands of the treacherous Lord Uddi. At first, being taught how to fight with any weapon gave him strength; his body grew quickly; his new name, Giant, was respected. But seeing the brutality of his lord, he wondered whether he had he swopped one evil village for another?
Torn between blind loyalty to his evil master and freedom, Sigbjorn finally escaped from the clutches of his lord. With his two sword shields following, Sigbjorn lead them to Humli, a peaceful town in the hills.
But their hopes of finding a place to call home were soon dashed for news of an army journeying towards Humli arrived. Gansir, the leader of the Humli people would take his warriors and ambush the evil Guths.
Sigbjorn was torn once more. The Humli folk were good people,
yet he was reluctant to ride with them. It wasn't his fight.
But with the Guths threatening to align themselves with the mysterious giants, only a tidal wave of hero's blood could prevent the carnage.
