This book is the indicator as to where our focus was, is or should be in our life today. It encourages us to give a brief look at our past, as a stepping stone; an educational tool, which has put us on the path that has led to our present and our potential future. With that said, it also gives us the opportunity to change some things that did not agree with the will of God. God was, is and always will be the sovereign answer to all three; past, present and future. We have the control, through our choices, to dictate where we will end up: God does not force us because He gave us free will. He hopes that we make righteous choices and with all the goodness He possesses, will guide us through our sunshine and storm. It is up to us to choose good over evil, moving forward over being stagnant: living in our present rather than living in our past; so that we can prepare for our future: life eternal.
