These poems call upon a vast array of inspirations: the Black condition, the eternal questions of love and the transitory nature of life. It is a collection of snapshots; the artists' goal is to capture a moment, and all its beautiful ugliness, with hopes that something universal can be found. Herein lies a collection of poems spanning multiple decades, lifetimes and realities.
