Reseña del libro "Quantum Conflict: A Quantified Approach to the Conflicting Conditions of Regeneration Before Faith According to Their Unified Implications"

Quantum Conflict What happens when the doctrine of regeneration is defined as being made alive in Christ, yet regeneration is placed logically and causally before faith? Quantum Conflict takes a focused look at one of the most consequential questions in Christian soteriology: Does a person receive saving life in Christ before believing into Him, or does the believer receive that life through faith in Christ? Rather than reducing the debate to the familiar categories of "free will" versus "bound will," Timothy Evans Carter and A. Edmond Johnson examine the underlying definitions, causal relationships, and biblical claims that determine the controversy. Using their TMQ method—Target, Meet, Qualify—the authors examine the issue through Scripture, historical theology, lexical analysis, philosophical reasoning, and systematic theological analysis. The study concentrates particularly on Ephesians 2:5, the Johannine relationship between believing and everlasting life, and the theological formulation commonly known as regeneration before faith. The book does not argue that salvation originates in human merit or autonomous human ability. Instead, it distinguishes God's prior revelation, testimony, conviction, and persuasive activity from the saving event of being made alive in Christ. At the heart of the book is a carefully qualified proposition: If regeneration means being made alive in Christ, can regeneration coherently precede the very believing into Christ through which Scripture presents everlasting life as received? The authors develop the question across five interconnected movements: The definition of regeneration The Calvinist causal order of regeneration and faith The textual testimony of Ephesians 2:5 The problem of conflicting conditions A constructive synthesis of divine disclosure, persuasion, faith, and life in Christ The result is a theological argument centered on the relationship: Divine Disclosure → Persuasion → Believing into Christ → Participation in Christ The authors summarize their constructive conclusion through two expressions: Sola Persuasio — In Solo Christus Persuasion is presented as the non-meritorious condition, while Christ alone remains the source, location, sufficiency, and saving object of everlasting life. Quantum Conflict is written for readers interested in biblical soteriology, Calvinism, regeneration, faith, salvation, union with Christ, and the philosophical question of how theological conditions and results relate to one another.
