Reseña del libro "The Absolute Man: Phallocracy (en Inglés)"

The Absolute Man is a trilogy that portrays human society from its beginnings until present times and identifies in patriarchate, defined as domination of masculine values, the cornerstone of the understanding of the evolution of human history and all its shortcomings. The first part of the trilogy is entitled "The Absolute Man. Phallocracy" because it focuses on the general data about masculine domination in history, with its unwanted consequences for the present. To this end, the work uses ironical and acid language, speaking, with black humour, of the disasters of humanity. The form of this work is a direct dialogue to a second-person singular so that, this way, people can be admonished, with humour, for their lack of logic and of humanity, for the way in which they let themselves manipulated, controlled and exploited by ideological, social, religious, political and other systems. The approach is chronological in the first half, looking at Man from birth to maturity, whereas the second part is thematic, with each chapter debunking the fundamental myths of modernity. The content of the book has global references as well as mentions of the Western general culture and of the leading features of the contemporary world, with the cosmopolite nature of the book being easy to observe. The view is original, novel, at times shocking and vituperative, and all this contributes to the creation of a book that captivates and surprises the reader from all walks of life. The approach in "The Absolute Man. Phallocracy" is chronological in the first half, looking at Man from birth to maturity, whereas the second part is thematic, with each chapter debunking the fundamental myths of modernity. The title of the second part of the trilogy is "The Absolute Man. Idiocracy and Cleptocracy". This part is a purely thematic revelation about the way in which people are fooled in everything that constitutes their daily life, their beliefs, their aspirations and their fundamental acts, on the same foundation of the debunking of masculine values turned by society into absolute truths. Everything is told with black humour, which remains the specific style throughout the entire work. The third part of the trilogy is entitled "The Absolute Man. The Triumph of Egolatry". It speaks of Man's self-conceit and self-deification that occur precisely while he is being stripped of all his values and assets. It is a literary itinerary different from the first two parts, as it goes through concrete situations observed in a journey across capitals of the world, and through meetings with fictitious characters who embody those who currently hold power, make decisions and influence the world, a journey during which the incredible and shocking anomalies of the modern world are observed and depicted in the same black-humour style. The form of the trilogy is, in the first two books, a direct dialogue to a second-person singular so that, this way, people can be admonished, with humour, for their lack of logic and of humanity, for the way in which they let themselves manipulated, controlled and exploited by ideological, social, religious, political and other systems. In the last volume, the style changes, taking the form of a journey through various places and of meetings with people with their own lifestyle, which gives rise to direct observation of their conceptual, moral and social errors.
