Hergé (Etterbeek, Bruselas, 22 de mayo de 1907 – Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, 3 de marzo de 1983) fue un historietista belga reconocido a nivel internacional como el creador de Las aventuras de Tintín, una de las series de cómic más influyentes y queridas del siglo XX. Su estilo gráfico, conocido como la línea clara, marcó un antes y un después en la narrativa visual y consolidó a Hergé como un pionero dentro del mundo de la bande dessinée.
A lo largo de su carrera, desarrolló más de veinte álbumes de Tintín que han sido traducidos a numerosos idiomas y leídos por generaciones en todo el mundo. Con personajes icónicos como el capitán Haddock, el profesor Tornasol o los detectives Hernández y Fernández, su obra combinó humor, aventura y crítica social, logrando trascender el ámbito infantil y juvenil para convertirse en un referente cultural universal.
Hergé fue distinguido con múltiples reconocimientos durante su vida, y su influencia se extiende hasta la actualidad con exposiciones, adaptaciones y estudios sobre su legado artístico. Es una buena colección de tomos, con letra bastante legible (buen tamaño), pero hay que tener claro que no vienen "todos" los Tintin editados alguna vez. Por ejemplo, faltan Stock de coque y Tintin en el Congo.
