Reseña del libro "The Boy With The Green Thumb (en Inglés)"
Milo Finch has a problem. His right thumb has turned green. Not metaphorically. Actually green. At first, Milo assumes there has to be a reasonable explanation. Marker. Paint. Chemicals. Anything would be better than the truth. Then he touches his mother's dying basil plant. It grows three feet. Suddenly, Milo can make seeds sprout in seconds, rescue dying plants, grow vegetables to ridiculous sizes, and somehow sense what plants need. It would be amazing if his strange new ability did not keep causing disasters. A school fern becomes a classroom problem. A radish grows large enough to need two hands. A pumpkin becomes a county-fair emergency. And Milo's younger sister immediately decides his supernatural gardening ability should become a business. Things stop being funny when a powerful lawn-and-garden company begins paying attention. Perfect Lawn sees more than a teenager with an unusual thumb. They see a discovery worth money, research, patents, and possibly far more than Milo ever imagined. Now Milo has to figure out what his ability really means, who he can trust, and whether making something grow faster actually makes it better. Because when an experiment gets out of control and an ordinary lawn decides it has no reason to stop growing, Milo may be the only person capable of fixing it. The Boy with the Green Thumb is a funny, fast-moving young adult fantasy about strange powers, friendship, family, giant vegetables, questionable business ideas, and learning that sometimes the hardest part of growing up is knowing when to stop growing.
