You laid down for a nap and had a terrible nightmare in which the world and society as you know it crumbs before your eyes. And then you realize that you had awakened from that nap, and the world, our world was in changing, dying. What do you do, where do you hide, how do you survive? For whoever finds this journal it tells what my group and I did in a landscape of Zombies, a misguided military and a virus that killed 95 % of the human race. We found some friends along the way and did some things that we are proud of, humanity at its best. But we also found that humanity, including us, had a dark side. Forgive us for those moments. Thomas Larson is a retired detective of the Manchester Connecticut Police Department. In creating this story he used those police skills as well as lessons he learned as the Commander of the Regional Hostage Negotiation Team (CREST), and his memberships in the Zombie Research Society and Z Squadron (Call sign Z5058) of the Zombie Eradication Response Team.
