Reseña del libro "The Impact of Treatment Accessibility on HIV-TB Co-infection: Evaluating How Access to Treatment Influences the Dynamics of HIV and Tuberculosis Co-infection.DE (en Inglés)"

This book presents the dynamics of HIV and tuberculosis (TB) co-infection, which remains a serious global public health concern, particularly in regions where access to treatment is limited. A fractional-order mathematical model to better understand how HIV and TB spread and interact within a population consisting of both treated and untreated individuals was considered. The population is divided into several compartments to represent different stages of infection and disease progression. To capture the memory effects that influence disease transmission over time, the model is analyzed using three fractional derivative operators: the Caputo derivative, Caputo-Fabrizio derivative, and Atangana-Baleanu derivative. These approaches allow the study to compare how different fractional formulations affect the behavior of the co-infection model. The book also emphasized treatment accessibility as a key factor affecting treatment and recovery rates. This factor represents the proportion of infected individuals who can obtain timely medical care.
