The challenges of working in third world missions and the demonic attacks on his family and life made it clear to Don living out his salvation and calling came with a price. Walking through fiery furnaces is something every Christian must face. It was in those dark experiences Don discovered that God not only never leaves us, but He walks in the fire with us. He learned that the Jesus of his salvation and the Jesus of his calling was also the Jesus of his agony. The Jesus of My Agony is meant for anyone who has experienced the fiery trials of life.
