The notion of the Caribbean population as ogres in H. Columbus' diary and in Chunky's letters came from Aboriginal accounts of Father Columbus. The whole plan was based on the fact that Columbus' diaries, which were under strict censorship as secret documents, would never see the light. The world community, believing his lies, would mistake him for the discoverer of the "Southern" continent of the New World.
