Adam Peck Sr. fought under Commander William Campbell in the Battle of Kings Mountain, where the British Ferguson was slain, and includes a list of all men known to be there. The stories of the women they married are told including the Bordens' back to William the Conqueror and before; the Sharkey's and the Looneys' back to the British Isles. Others in Vol. I: the Gayles' and Plantagenets to Richbourgs';The Dodds'; The Bewleys' and the Morreys'; and the Sawyer and Morris family.
