NO SCAVENGING: Like the sign says, you should not take things. The Saturday afternoon, journey to the local landfill. A wooden cage salvaged and brought home for the family pet. The one referred to in mythology as case number fifty-eight, believed to date 3200 B.C. and be of pre-dynastic Egyptian origin. The box-like cage crafted to contain a demon. The one carried up from hell by Lucifer. The box that if opened will unleash sheer unadulterated evil ... Oops, it's open. INTERMISSION - THE DREAM: Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I pray the Lord my soul to take, and if I have a nightmare instead of a dream. I pray the Lord to wake me before I start to scream and scream and scream... COUNTY ROAD 507: There are other places to dig a homes' foundation, than on ancient burial grounds. A quiet out of the way country road. A plot of land sold. A foundation dug. A primal burial ground unearthed, and left during the five days of the waning moon. Legends do actually contain some form of merit. Full moons are believed to send people over the edge. Whether it be dining on excavated dirt, road kill, or the neighbours' ... Or dancing round a bonfire chanting out the name of something long dead, or at least it used to be. TROLLING: Internet chat rooms can lead to fun, or not. Alien entities are remarkable things. They can shape shift, there-by living amongst us, maybe even in our own homes. Say like the residence of the Knowles family. Their intelligent and quick studies. Moreover, when their diet is human, the devices at hand like computers over flowing with internet chat rooms can provide an abundance of fast food.
