After fifteen years, starting with pedophilia, drugs, to rape, physical and mental abuse, I snapped. On March 12, 1991 I was arraigned and was charged with Second-Degree Murder and faced twenty-five years in prison. Documents, within this story, presented by Lisa Schreibersdorf, describe how over the past years the courts and society have traditionally treated women differently than men regarding abuse and rape by husbands. It was my case and the document presented that changed the way the courts and juries make their decisions. Guilty or Not Guilty? The sad truth is many women who killed their abusive husbands and boyfriends were convicted of murder and went to prison or to mental institutions.
