The Psychiatrist. Some Therapists Have Their Own Agenda (en Inglés) - Allen Troise

Some therapists don't heal-they hunt.

Dr. Robert Samuels is a celebrated psychiatrist with a prestigious New York City practice, a sprawling Westchester estate, and an elite circle of mental health professionals. To the world, he is the embodiment of integrity-respected by colleagues, trusted by patients, admired by friends.

But beneath the veneer of success lies a darkness no one suspects.

When a string of brutal attacks leaves five women dead-and one barely clinging to life-investigators discover chilling similarities. Each victim was under psychiatric care. Each carried a charm engraved with the words "Be Strong." And each was drugged with Midazolam-a sedative accessible only to medical professionals.

As the FBI and local detectives close in, a horrifying truth begins to surface-a secret network hidden behind the walls of therapy rooms and confidential files. Every clue leads to an exclusive annual retreat at Dr. Samuels' secluded mansion, where "sessions" are only the beginning.

Taut, cinematic, and inspired by real-world fears, The Psychiatrist is a gripping psychological thriller that exposes the terrifying question: What happens when the ones sworn to heal your mind become your greatest threat?
