In the second installment of The Adventures of Ace Preston series, Ace Preston recently retired after working almost four decades in law enforcement and twenty-five years in the U.S. Army Reserve. Adventure and excitement await Ace as he makes plans to check off long sought-after items from his retirement bucket list. First up is a tour of a major league baseball park. Ace's first destination is Wrigley Field in Chicago! Decked out in his best red, white, and blue jersey and ball cap, Ace tours the stadium and, to his surprise, finds an old metal numbered piece of the manual scoreboard lodged in the ivy-covered wall. Returning the found number to the scoreboard keeper lands Ace inside an iconic scoreboard with time-traveling capabilities. Amazed and intrigued, Ace gets a chance to observe historical baseball games and sporting events of the past. Ace learns that the windows of observation also allow him to exit and participate in the time-travel events he witnesses.
