Methuselah rears his son Lamech who becomes father to Noah, the only one of the tenth generation to walk perfect before the Lord and hears His word. With each child that is passed through the fire, their battle songs grow stronger, but the Lord works in mysterious ways. Noah's wife bears him three sons, Japheth, Ham, and Seth, and together all the men embark on the massive task of building the giant ark. Methuselah means 'when I die, the deluge comes', and as the vessel of their salvation nears completion, he joins the grandfathers in Paradise. One week later, the rain--which has never fallen on earth before--begins.
