Was Cleopatra Black? (en Inglés) - Indus Khamit Kush

"Was Cleopatra Black: The Most Famous Question in 2,000 Years About the Most Famous Woman in History" is an Afrocentric historical text written by Indus Khamit-Kush (also known for What They Never Told You in History Class).

The book serves as a dedicated analysis that challenges eurocentric historical narratives and asserts the African heritage of the last active ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt. The book directly tackles the global, cross-generational curiosity regarding Cleopatra’s race. It systematically builds an argument for her African roots and origins, contrasting mainstream classical claims that strictly classify her as Greek or Macedonian. Kush highlights Cleopatra’s exceptional intelligence, leadership qualities, and strategic prowess. He argues that her historic power shattered ancient patriarchal boundaries and gender limitations.
