20 Love Polyphonies Piano Suite by Abada Hongbing Zhang, Chinese Renowned Composer, including the links of videos by pianists Wenyu Shen and Yuechen Xiao.Pianist Wenyu Shen Biography: Highly acclaimed by audiences and musical critics, he is renowned for extraordinary virtuosity and perfect musicality. The youngest prize winner in the history of the Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition and First Prize winner at the Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition. Born in Chongqing, China in1986. Started to learn piano at the age of 6. Invited to South Africa twice to give recitals in 1996. Moved to Germany in 1998 and studied with professor Gunther Hauer in the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik. Began studing with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling at the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Hannover since 2001. Won 2nd Prize at the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in 2003 and First Prize at the Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition in 2005. Came back China at the end of 2005. Transcribed the Chinese piano concerto Yellow River to piano solo piece in 2007 and performed in the concert around China. Got first prize at the 1st CCTV Piano & Violin Competition in China 2008... Pianist Yuechen Xiao Biography: Born in Xinjiang, China, Yuechen Xiao started his piano education at the age of six. He received many prizes including an award of excellence in "Xinghai" Piano Competition and was awarded the first prize in the National Finals of the China Youth Art Selection of Excellence competition. In 2006, he moved to Beijing and started his professional musical training in Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated High School, Beijing, China. And studied with Professor. Yafen Zhu as private student. In 2012 he was admitted in Eastman School of music under Dr. Douglas Humpherys and he received both the Bachelor of Music degree and Master of Music degree in piano performance and literature. In 2018, he continued his Doctor of Musical Art Program at Eastman. During his time at Eastman, Xiao performed for world-renowned piano pedagogues and pianists in master classes such as Professor Thomas Schumacher and Ms. Olga Kern. Since 2016, Xiao have taught Piano Class as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Tony Caramia. He has served as a collaborative pianist at Nazareth College since 2019 and gives collaborative recitals with Dr. Nick Kilkenny.
