Ben and his sister, Ellen, are educated and leading professional careers until they develop paranoid schizophrenia, which they inherit from their mother. In his delusional state, Ben jumps in front of a subway and is decapitated after first killing his own young son. Two years later, his sister Ellen hangs herself from a shower rod. Ben's actions start a house of cards, for three more deaths will occur after his own. It's a story of intrigue that will both entertain and appall the reader.
